Abstract
The aqueous solubility and the Henry's Law Constants (HLCs) for some l ower chlorinated dioxins were experimentally determined using a dynami c method. The values of the dimensionless gas-water partition coeffici ents ranged between 8.16 E-4 for 1,2,3,4-TetraCDD and 2.40 E-3 for 2,7 -DiCDD, the Henry's Law Constants from 2.02 Pa m(3)/mol to 5.96 Pa m(3 )/mol, respectively. An aqueous solubility from 0.388 mu g/l for 1,2,3 ,4-TetraCDD to 6.95 mu g/l for 1,2,4-TriCDD has been measured.
