Abstract
We provide a preliminary description of the campaign of infrared spect roscopy of the SL-9 impacts carried out at the Steward Observatory 2.3 m telescope. The data include high resolution (R = 3500) measurements of the impact sites, monitoring of auroral emissions, and spectra of t wo impact fireballs.
