Abstract
The egg, third instar larva and pupa of Platydracus tomentosus (Graven horst) are described, the illustrations of structural features are pro vided. Both adults and larvae live immediately next to rivers and pond s in Nebraska. The species appears to have a univoltine life cycle. La rval rearing techniques are described data presented on growth of imma tures.
