In this letter, we use the results of a 15-state R-matrix calculation
to search for resonances in e(-)-He+ scattering with positions lying b
elow and converging on to the n = 3 threshold of He+. The resonant pos
itions and widths are computed and compared with previous calculations
and experiments. The excitation function of the 1s-2s transition is o
btained and the resonance structures are examined and compared with th
e calculation of Bray er al and the measurements of Dolder and Peart.
