Abstract
Tibial migration in 33 cementless total knee replacements, which were performed with a cooled saw blade vs. a conventional blade, was studie d in a randomized prospective study using roentgen stereophotogrammetr ic analysis (radiostereometry). All cases were clinically successful a fter 2 years and inducible displacement was smaller in the group opera ted with the cooled saw blade. This group also had a tendency towards less continuous migration.
