The effect of a 340 degrees C heat treatment combined with an elastic
tensile loading of 80 MPa on the impurity interface segregation in low
-alloy Cr-Mo-V steel doped by boron has been studied by Auger spectros
copy, It was shown that the depth profile of phosphorus grain boundary
segregation in the specimens subjected to the stressed state widened.
The increase of the diffusivity coefficient of phosphorus for stresse
d specimens was obtained using McLean's segregation kinetics. In some
cases, phosphorus segregation on the matrix-sulphide interface was fou
nd.
