Abstract
Antagonistic property of Streptomyces sp. isolated from Villorita cypr inoides was studied along with L-Asparaginase activity and growth. Str eptomyces sp. showed optimum pH requirement at 7. The influence of ami no acids, carbon sources and sodium chloride showed wide variations. H eavy metal inhibited the growth and activity.
