The nonthermal continuum radiation or Terrestrial Myriametric Radiatio
n (TMR) has been widely received by spacecraft. Some of the TMR are, h
owever, intensified and broadened in frequency in good correlation wit
h the Auroral Kilometric Radiation (AKR). We call such radiation Auror
al Myriametric Radiation (AKR), because this is well correlated with t
he AKR. Correlations between the AMR and the AKR, difference between t
he AMR and the TMR, and the intensity and the frequency bandwidth of t
he AMR are discussed. Although the lower cutoff frequencies of the TMR
has been widely used to estimate the local plasma frequency, evidence
is presented that the two frequencies do not coincide in some cases.
