Abstract
We report the cloning of a cDNA encoding the human homolog of ornithin e decarboxylase antizyme from a human gingival fibroblast cDNA library . The human antizyme is 84% identical to the rat sequence and shows al most no homology to the E. coli antizyme. Northern analysis studies sh ow that this gene is expressed in both human gingival and synovial fib roblasts.
