Abstract
The mechanistic aspects of the beta-lactones anionic polymerization in itiated by both classical initiators, i.e. alkali metal alkoxides, and non-traditional ones, such as supramolecular complexes of alkali meta ls and alkali metal naphthalenes, are discussed in this paper.
