Abstract
This paper presents the application of long-range predictive control t o the problem of induction motor stator current regulation, The partic ular controller used is the generalized predictive controller in a syn chronous reference frame, The theory and implementation of this contro ller are discussed and simulation results are presented which compare favorably with those for proportional integral compensated controllers .
