Abstract
A transitional cell carcinoma from the pye-localiceal system, initiall y presenting as a pulmonary tumour, extended into the inferior vena ca va, the tenth reported case of this type. The literature is reviewed w ith special reference to vena cava involvement by such tumours and imm unohistochemical staining pattern.
