Abstract
We have studied the rheological properties of an assembly of swollen g el beads in a lack of solvent. The system is an amorphous assembly of packed soft spheres in a given volume. We have studied the plastic beh avior of the system, and interpreted it in terms of bead rearrangement s within the assembly.
