Abstract
The analytic solution to a reactivity oascillation problem in the poin t reactor model is presented. A critical condition for the existence o f stationary power oscillations is established. The results for both s tationary and non-stationary oscillations allow to get some physical i nsight on the role of the delayed neutron emission phenomenon in react or dynamics.
