Abstract
New derivatives of xy-2-methyl-4(H)-oxo-1-benzopyran-6-carboxaldehyde (2a) have been synthesized and tested for, their anticoagulant, antipy retic and analgesic activities. Compounds 2a, b and 3a, c, d show sign ificant anticoagulant effect with short onset time and duration (P<0.0 1). Compounds 2a and 3a has the same antipyretic effect as paracetamol . Also, compounds 3c, e and 4a show similar analgesic effect as Novalg in.
