Abstract
The increasing technicalization of knowledge calls for a school of tho ught in technology assessment which occupies itself with the cognitive foundations of knowledge technology and the consequences and effects of the technicalization of knowledge. The present contribution hopes t o stimulate ISKO into taking an interest in this problem field.
