Abstract
A case of advanced ectopic pregnancy after in vitro fertilization comp licated by an ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome is presented. Methotre xate was given in spite of high levels of hCG and appeared to be succe ssful. Difficulties in the choice between surgical and conservative tr eatment are discussed.
