Abstract
Three series of complexes, viz., bis(eta(5)-cyclopentadienyl)zirconium 1-pyrrolecarbothioates and -dithioate, bis(eta(5)-cyclopentadienyl)ar yloxyzirconium 1-pyrrolecarbodithioates and eta(5)-cyclopentadienylzir conium 1-pyrrolecarbodithioates have been synthesized and characterize d by infrared and H-1 NMR spectroscopy. The complex Cp(2)ZrC1(S2CNC4H4 ) (II) crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/n. The molecul ar structure reveals a bent metallocene structure with the S2-CNC4H4 l igand bidentately bonded to the Zr atom.
