Abstract
Coprecipitation properties of lanthanum hydroxide precipitate has been used for preconcentration of water samples, containing trace quantiti es (mu g dm(-3)) of Cr-VI/Cr-III. The precipitate is able to carry, qu antitatively both forms of Cr at [La-III] > 100 mg dm(-3) at pH > 7 an d can be effectively used for trace analysis of Cr.
