Abstract
The N-15 cross-polarization magic-angle spinning nuclear magnetic reso nance (CP-MAS NMR) spectra of 5-aminotetrazole monohydrate were measur ed in the solid state and compared with the data obtained in solutions . The results confirmed the structure of 5-aminotetrazole with a hydro gen atom attached to the N1 atom with a contribution of all the other nitrogen atoms in the H-bonded system. It is in agreement with the X-r ay crystallographic data.
