Abstract
An otherwise healthy 19-year-old pregnant woman developed crusted scab ies. She and her husband had previously been treated for scabies. In s pite of appropriate treatment both suffered several relapses, and late r their infant was also affected. Ultimately, the infection was eradic ated. As far as we are aware, this is the first recorded case of crust ed scabies occurring in a healthy pregnant woman.
