Abstract
We have performed both longitudinal and transverse magnetization measu rements on a HgBa2CuO4+delta single crystal, from which we extract the superconducting parameters (lambda(parallel to)(0) approximate to 140 0 Angstrom, xi(parallel to)(0) approximate to 20 Angstrom) The anisotr opy is found (gamma approximate to 30) to be the lowest of the known v alues for the HgBa2Can-1CunO2n+2+delta family. A decrease of the appar ent anisotropy is observed close to T-c, which we tentatively attribut e to a quasi-2D to 3D crossover.
