Ac. Gaumont et al., BORON-CONTAINING AND PHOSPORUS-CONTAINING HETEROCYCLES - FIRST EVIDENCE OF A TRANSIENT CYCLIC PHOSPHABOROLANE WITH P-H AND B-H BONDS, Journal of organometallic chemistry, 484(1-2), 1994, pp. 9-12
A stable cyclic phosphine-borane was prepared by an intramolecular reg
ioselective hydroboration of the allylphosphine-borane precursor. Unde
r flash vacuum thermolysis (FVT) conditions, the corresponding transie
nt phosphaborolane was formed and was characterized by high-resolution
mass spectrometry using a tandem FVT/MS device.
