M. Depenbrock et al., FORMULATING REQUIREMENTS FOR A UNIVERSALLY APPLICABLE POWER THEORY ASCONTROL ALGORITHM IN POWER COMPENSATORS, European transactions on electrical power engineering, 4(6), 1994, pp. 445-455
Different power theories are examined, with regard to their applicabil
ity in controlling dynamic filters for nonactive power: Frequency-doma
in approaches and a range of time-domain approaches are considered, th
e fatter being inherently more suitable for real-time control of dynam
ic dynamic filters. Finally, some detailed attention is devoted to a c
ombination of the approaches by Fryze, Buchholz and Depenbrock. This F
BD-approach leads to a general time-domain resolution of power compone
nts in a generalized m-wire system that can be used effectively in der
iving control algorithms for dynamic filters of non-active power.
