LANDSCAPE ECOLOGICAL EVALUATION AND OPTIMIZATION OF THE SURROUNDING TERRITORY OF THE NUCLEAR-POWER-PLANT MOCHOVCE

Evaluation and proposition (the proposal of arrangement, optimization) of the agricultural landscape utilization in environs of the nuclear power station Mochovce refer to the need of a complex problem solution . Problems concerning the exposure of spatial landscape stability and aesthetics to danger are necessary to be solved by greening of territo ry, by liquidation of subsidiary buildings. Problems concerning the ex posure of natural sources to danger are necessary to be solved by usin g of recultivated soil as a perennial grass cover. Many productive for ests in the surroundings of this power station will be necessary to ch ange into special and protective ones. Special proposals consist in es tablishment of monitoring network that will evaluate the state of envi ronment in surroundings of the nuclear power station. Crop production in the nearness of the nuclear power station is not recommended for di rect consumption and either is the construction of animal farms.
