Abstract
An unusual case of lipoma arising in the floor of the mouth of a 70-ye ar-old man is presented. The unusual appearance suggests that the tumo ur be included as a rare possibility in the differential diagnosis of swellings in the floor of the mouth that can also adversely affect low er denture stability.
