Abstract
The analysis of space images obtained by SAR NOAA-11 and 12 revelaed a nomalies in the cloud cover above faults near the epicenters of earthq uakes in December 1988 (Armenia) and March-April 1992 (Turkey). Sach a nomalies are assumed to be indications of the increasing tectonic acti vity.
