Abstract
The region of phase separation in poly(2-methyl-5-vinylpyrimidinium hy drochloride)-water-sodium sulfate system was identified. The study was conducted using the approach based on assessing the rate of phase tra nsformation by measuring the turbidity spectrum. Concentration of the polymer was 0.005 - 0.05 g/dl, the temperature was varied in the range 20 < T < 170-degrees-C; concentration of Na2SO4 was 1 g-equiv/l. Frag ment of the phase diagram with the closed amorphous phase separation r egion was obtained.
