Abstract
It was shown that reactivity of all the known substituted styrenes tow ard polystyrene radical in radical copolymerization with styrene is de termined by donor-acceptor action of substituents and described by sin gle Hammett constant correlation equation for substituents, i.e., by d ouble parameter correlation lg 1/r1 from sigmaBAR0 and sigmaBAR(R), wh ich in its turn is responsible for macromolecule chain microstructures and copolumer constitution. Appropriate correlations, copolymerizatio n constants-Hammett constants- and microstructure parameters of copoly mer chains were given.
