Abstract
The paper discusses the results of the comparative analysis and interp retation of the air and space-borne images obtained in the period from 1977 to 1978 and of the space images obtained in the period from the middle 80s to 1991. The images reveal the dynamics of the Caspian coas t and the types of the relief determined by the increase of the sea le vel.
