Abstract
Reporting an hypothetical relationship of frequency of sessions per we ek and the length of treatment of psychoanalytic therapy data are pres ented from an empirical evaluation of the Ulm out-patient clinic (N=18 00) that basically confirm the hypothesis. The scarcity of empirical s tudies on the relationship of frequency, length of treatment and outco me lead the author to ask for systematic evaluation of these relations hips.
