REACTIONS OF TRIOSMIUM CLUSTERS OS-3(CO)(11)(MECN) AND (MU-H)OS-3(CO)(10)(MU-OH) WITH L-ALPHA-SERINE ETHYL-ESTER AND ETHANOLAMINE

A series of novel chiral complexes with mu,eta(1) and mu,eta(2) coordi nation of organic ligands were prepared by reactions of Os-3(CO)(11)(M eCN) and (mu-H)Os-3(CO)(10)(mu-OH) with L-alpha-serine ethyl ester and ethanolamine. The diastereomeric cluster complexes with serine ligand s were separated by crystallization or chromatography.
