Abstract
The indoor monitoring of carbon monoxide and suspended particulate mat ter (SPM) was carried out for a 1-h fuelwood combustion period in trad itional and portable metallic cookstoves. The benzo (a) pyrene content present in the SPM was also determined. The monitoring was carried ou t at three different positions in the indoor environment. Results are presented in brief and discussed.
