Km. Jansons, THE 2ND VIRIAL-COEFFICIENT FOR A STRONGLY BROWNIAN SUSPENSION OF ARBITRARY CONVEX-BODIES WITH MODEL INTERACTION POTENTIALS, IMA journal of applied mathematics, 53(3), 1994, pp. 215-219
The methods of integral geometry are used to determine the second viri
al coefficient of the expression for the pressure in terms of the numb
er density for a suspension of arbitrary convex bodies with model inte
raction potentials. One special case considered assumes that the inter
action energy is a function of only the minimum distance between the b
odies, and others assume that the interaction energy is a function of
the volume, surface area, and integral of the mean curvature of the in
tersection of the two bodies.
