Abstract
We consider the possibility of a nuclear transition, through the inter mediate state of the Li-6(3+, 0) nucleus, for the muonic molecule tmu He-3. While the three-body Coulomb part of the problem is treated by a variational method using a large basis of trial functions (approximat ely 1000), the strong-interaction effects are calculated in perturbati on theory.
