The linear and non-linear uniform magnetic susceptibilities of the thr
ee-dimensional Ising antiferromagnet FeCl2 were studied by using quasi
-static magneto-optical Faraday rotation. Scaling analysis of their cr
itical exponents at H = 0, 2 beta' = 0.83 +/- 0.05 and gamma' = -0.19
+/- 0.05, allows us to determine the exponent of the specific heat, al
pha = 0.15 +/- 0.04, which is in good agreement with other experiments
and theoretical predictions.
