The thermodynamic Bethe ansatz equations for the attractive Hubbard ch
ain are solved numerically. The entropy, specific heat, gamma-values,
band filling, spin and charge susceptibilities are obtained as a funct
ion of temperature, interaction strength and chemical potential in zer
o magnetic field. The dominant states at low temperatures are spin-pai
red electrons. The spin susceptibility is vanishingly small at low tem
peratures due to the spin gap.
