Abstract
The synthesis of compounds containing three contiguous hydrogen bond s ites is reported. There are six ways of arranging three adjacent hydro gen bond donor (D) and acceptor (A) sites. General synthetic routes to heterocyclic compounds with each arrangement is reported.
