Abstract
This paper presents a BASIC computer program which can assist a user i n designing a two-sided XBAR control chart with adaptive features such as adaptive sample sizes, adapative sampling intervals, or combined a daptive sample sizes and sampling intervals. The program generates the threshold limit to switch the adaptive design parameters, the mean fa lse alarm rate, and the out-of-control average time to signal an off-t arget process for various magnitude of shifts as specified by the user .
