Abstract
This article reviews the analysis of opiates in hair. Hair matrix pret reatment, hydrolysis, extraction and detection procedures are presente d amongst a study of over 70 bibliographic data. In addition, a new me thod for the extraction of opiates from hair, in which a powdered samp le of hair is extracted directly by subcritical fluid, is presented.
