The lowest fundamental level nu(11) in 2-C-13-allene, H2C=C-13=CH2, ha
s been studied from a high resolution infrared spectrum of the nu(11)
band together with lower state combination differences obtained from h
igh resolution infrared measurements of the hat bands nu(7) + nu(11) -
nu(11), nu(9) + nu(11) - nu(11), nu(10) + nu(11) - nu(11), and 2 nu(1
0) + nu(11) - nu(11). From a simultaneous analysis of 4592 energy leve
ls and combination differences for the nu(11) level a set of spectrosc
opic constants has been obtained with a model taking into account the
two types of rotational l-type resonance allowed for this molecule. Su
bband constants for the various hot bands nu(7) + nu(11) - nu(11), nu(
9) + nu(11) - nu(11), nu(10) + nu(11) - nu(11), and 2 nu(10) + nu(11)
- nu(11) assigned in this study are summarized in tables. (C) 1995 Aca
