Abstract
Reliable ground state rotational energies of propyne have been derived , for the first time, from all available millimeter-wave and submillim eter-wave experimental data together with ''forbidden'' combination di fferences providing information on the Delta k spacing of rotational l evels. The rotational energies were analyzed by the effective rotation al Hamiltonian expressed in the conventional polynomial and in the Pad e form. Extrapolation capabilities of both the Hamiltonian forms are d iscussed. (C) 1995 Academic Press, Inc.
