Abstract
With a sample of 40 patients, the authors conducted a prospective case -control study on the feasibility of differed autologous blood transfu sion at Point ''G'' National Hospital in Bamako, Mali. The method has been accepted by all the patients. No clinical nor biological trouble has been reported by the patients themselves. The authors recommend th e use of autologous blood transfusion by other hospital units and the development of regulations governing its implementation.
