Abstract
A review is presented which covers liquid chromatography, gas chromato graphy, and related techniques. This article intends to describe the c hromatographic methods playing an important role in the separation of the rare earth elements. Special attention is paid to the usefulness o f various types of liquid chromatography which enable the complete mut ual separation of the rare earth elements. Applications are also discu ssed.
