Abstract
This paper describes the implementation of, and experience with, recor ding and playback of user actions during execution of application prog rams. All operator console applications have access to this facility a s part of their runtime environment. It is used for program macros, sa fe operator training, and application tutorials. Various difficulties and capabilities inherent in this type of facility are also discussed.
