Abstract
The structure of oro-2-cyclotriphos-phazenyl)phosphine-P](triphenyl ph osphite-P)manganese(I) hexafluorophosphate, [Mn(C18H15O3P)(C10H8N2)(C1 8H15Cl4N3P4)(CO)(2)]PF6, consists of discrete complex cations and PF6- anions linked by several weak C-H...O and C-H...F interactions. The c ation is a very distorted octahedral manganese-dicarbonyl fragment hav ing cis-trans stereochemistry and bearing triphenylphosphite, bipyridi ne and phosphazenylphosphine [N3P3Cl4(Ph)(PPh(2))] ligands. Analysis o f the structure of the complex reveals that the coordination of the ph osphazenylphosphine ligand to the cationic manganese-carbonyl fragment induces only minor changes in the phosphazene ring, affecting only th e P5-P3 bond length.
