Abstract
The X-ray structure analysis of the title compound, C25H25NO5S, establ ishes unambiguously the absolute configuration of the asymmetric C ato ms as R (C9) and R C(10), with the hydroxyl and phenyl substituents in cis positions. The heterocyclic ring exhibits a flattened sofa confor mation. The crystal structure shows an intramolecular hydrogen bond be tween the hydroxyl group and the carbonyl O atom.
