Abstract
Results of comprehensive investigations of manganese nodule fields at a polygon in Clarion-Clipperton region are presented. Numerous sea flo or stereophotographs were obtained, the detailed bathymetric survey of the area was carried out and grab samples were collected. Basic featu res of the manganese nodule spatial distribution were reveales and his tograms of their size distributions were plotted.
