Abstract
Study of stress and displacement fields in the microstructurally signi ficant region near the tip of a crack in an elastic-plastic body is im portant for establishing multi-parameter fracture criteria. A mathemat ical tool for such study is a multi-term asymptotic expansion of crack tip fields. This paper presents a methodology and a FORTRAN program f or the determination of three-term asymptotic stress and displacement fields in a power-hardening material.
