A new iterative procedure for a numerical analysis of Mossbauer spectr
a in terms of higher-order harmonics is outlined and tested for Sn-119
simulated and measured Mossbauer spectra of chromium. Its usefulness
to study spin- and charge-density waves of chromium is demonstrated.
